George Kirkwood – Engineering/Field Service and Installation
Joining the engineering department of Rodgers organs in the early 1960’s, George left a successful teaching career at the University level. His knowledge and experience guided Rodgers for decades as head of Research and Development, and then the Engineering Division at Rodgers. George has an extensive knowledge of both pipe and electronic organs and is one of the most qualified people in the United States to design and oversee organ installations.
George holds multiple degrees from Oregon State University, and is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren and lives in Hillsboro, OR. When not working with organs, George is collecting antique radios, clocks and trains.
